Producing A Short Film
Set to debut in 2024, this short film was produced with an award-winning cinematographer, an Emmy-nominated producer, and 9 Baylor students. Fundraising, pitching, and editing were completely student-led and the project was completed with a budget that would knock your film-making socks off!

Film Fellowship

Thesis on Images
Completed in early 2023, this Honors College work investigated the relationship between images, praise, and their effects on our affections. In an era of Text-to-Image AI Generators, this work encourages readers to see the inextricable link between words, images, and what we seek to praise, everyday.

Associateship
Through the Sine Institute, Leigh worked for John Tass-Parker who is the head of Politics and Government at Instagram. Under his mentorship, she learned about the role of social media in the 2020 election and helped plan community events to learn more about the way social media impacts elections.

Congressional Intern
From 2016-2019, Leigh worked in both a district and federal congressional office. Creating the West Texas Warrior initiative, supporting campaign goals, and interfacing with constituents.

Teaching & Mentoring
When not working, Leigh spends her free time mentoring and teaching children in failing school districts. This kind of work, above all else, is the most rewarding. Open to work whose aim is to make a difference and whose spirit is generosity, Leigh looks forward to many more efforts like these.
